The art of Piet Mondrian has recently fascinated me. I was trying to figure out how I could get my living room to be “coordinated” with a red couch, a blue chair, and a quilt that was blue and yellow. The dominance of the primary colors jumped out at me, after visiting SF MOMA. I have some vague idea to paint an “imitation” one to hang in my living room. In looking for real and fake versions, I found the Random Mondrian Generator, and some of the fakes were fascinating.

Why are there not snowbows? When I was visiting my parents in Cleveland, Ohio, it was cold and snowing, par for the course in December. However, one day when we were out and it was snowing, I saw a rainbow and I started to say that. But it wasn’t raining, so it couldn’t be rainbow, it had to be a snowbow. Yet I can’t find a definition for snowbow anywhere, just some companies and products.
